Arm balances and inversions are often offered in a regular class but there is rarely time to break them down and really take advantage of everything they can do for you mentally and physically. Balancing on your hands can be frightening and very challenging but also incredibly fun and strength-building. We'll start with about 30 minutes of advanced vinyasa to warm up followed by a workshop focusing on arm balancing, handstands and forearm balancing. We'll break down the poses so that even if we can't do some of them yet, we understand a clear path to get there. Even more importantly, we'll work on many different ways to transition in and out of these poses to increase our strength and awareness so that being on our hands becomes a more natural and integrated element of our entire practice. Please bring every question you have and get ready to sweat, get upside-down, and LAUGH! See you on your mats!
